Chocolate Fudge Torte
Okay, I am in heaven!! Found this decadent recipe for Chocolate Fudge Torte that is Gluten Free and Vegan … and looks out of this world! I would say that Carol definitely out-did herself with this recipe!!
And I agree with Carol: There’s no such thing as too much chocolate!
Carol Fenster’s Gluten-Free Vegan Chocolate Fudge Torte
Filling
1/4 cup milk of choice
1/2 cup gluten-free chocolate chipsCake
1 cup Carol’s Sorghum Flour Blend (see below)
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa (not Dutch)
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon egg replacer powder
1/3 cup canola oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 can (16 ounces) canned pears, drained
1/3 cup hot brewed coffee
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
2 teaspoons water
