Hemp & Coconut Based Ice Cream to Debut in April!
Yipee!! Gluten Free Vegan ice cream — sounds like it is hemp and coconut milk based. I truly miss ice cream …. especially in the summer. Sounds likeJ. P. Licks is introducing this new product right in time for the warmer weather!!
According to a press release, local ice cream company J.P. Licks announced its new line of non-dairy ice cream today. The new flavors will be dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan and Kosher-certified, pretty much covering any dietary restriction and allergy you could ever possibly have.
As gross as diary-free ice cream sounds to me, the first three flavors to debut – coconut almond lace, chocolate coconut and pineapple coconut – don’t sound half bad. Well, that is, unless you hate coconuts. The non-dairy flavors use a coconut cream base instead of traditional milk and are sweetened with brown rice and agave syrups.
Now to find this wonderful sounding ice cream (By the way, I love coconut milk, so I know I will love this stuff!)
